Sootseekers Chimney Sweeps was founded by Colin Brooks. When Colin went into retirement, Mark + Jo Fisher bought the company from him and have been the owners since 2008. During this time, we have recruited Josh Wakefield who is our son in-law. We have a wealth of experience in sweeping chimneys and maintaining appliances, as well as being fully qualified HETAS engineers and Guild Of Master Sweeps. We cover the area of Dorset.
Mark is our Master sweep here at Sootseekers and company founder along with Jo his wife. With over 12 years experience in the solid fuel industry, there is no chimney too difficult for Mark! He is also a fully qualified HETAS engineer and sweep meaning he has a vast knowledge of both maintenance and installations.
Josh is the latest of our recruits. He joined us in 2017 and has been sweeping chimneys ever since. Josh is also a fully qualified HETAS engineer and a Guild of Master Sweeps member.
